Integrations

BongoShield fits into the tools your organization already uses. This page shows, at a glance, how employees get the daily security question depending on your email and identity setup.

The daily gate, delivered your way

There are two complementary ways the daily question reaches employees:

Most organizations combine the two — SSO for a smooth login, plus an in-app option so the daily question shows up right where people work.

Platform matrix

Your platform How employees get the daily gate
Microsoft 365 / Outlook The Outlook add-in (daily question + Report Phishing in the inbox), and/or Single Sign-On with Microsoft (Entra ID).
Google Workspace Single Sign-On with Google, plus the browser extension for web apps.
Roundcube webmail (self-hosted) The Roundcube plugin, installed once on your Roundcube server.
Zoho Mail Single Sign-On (via a supported SAML/OIDC provider), plus the browser extension.
Other webmail / web apps Single Sign-On (any SAML/OIDC provider) plus the browser extension.

Identity providers

BongoShield supports Single Sign-On with:

  • Microsoft (Entra ID)
  • Google Workspace
  • Other identity providers that use the standard SAML or OIDC protocols

Employees sign in with their existing work accounts — no separate BongoShield password needed. See Single Sign-On for how to connect one.

Reporting phishing, everywhere

Wherever the daily gate is delivered, employees also get an easy way to report suspicious emails — a native button in Outlook, or a reporting option provided through the other integrations. See Reporting Suspicious Emails.

Getting integrations set up

All of these options are available today, and the BongoShield team helps you deploy and configure them. Tell your BongoShield contact about your email and identity setup, and we'll recommend and set up the best combination for your organization.
